Like most students, Delilah only knew anything about Unforgivable Curses through textbook examples and stories from the past. Never had she cast one or been under one and naturally, she never really hoped to. She was a Slytherin, sure. However, she was no Death Eater or murderer. She knew better than to toss such spells around for fun and game. However, she had no idea if that's what others - such as Draco Malfoy, did. Generally, she chose to avoid the situations completely, meaning the people associated with them as well.

As he went on to say it wouldn't put her under the Imperius Curse, she couldn't help but just smirk a little. She was immediately curious as to who he would put under, but didn't ask. Even if the question was burning a hole into her brain and lips, begging to come out. It was odd how well she seemed to be listening now. Like most, she hadn't talked to people who did use Unforgivables. Or at least, she hadn't to her knowledge. Her green eyes stared up at his still, even while his gray ones kept away from her gaze.

"I can imagine." She said with a short chuckle as he mentioned the headaches. "I mean, somebody's practically warping your mind... I can't imagine that's too easy for the brain to take in. Though, I am curious..." The petite woman began, her eyes shifting away for just a moment to think of the right words to say. They lowered to the table as she bit her bottom lip before returning back to to his pale features.

"Have you ever done it? Or been under it? I'm guessing so, if you know it gives people headaches." She said, her voice a bit lower and more cautious now. Seemingly careful to tiptoe over anything that might upset him.

Despite the tiptoeing she was doing around the subject to keep from making him shut-down or get upset, his head turned away from her and he went silent for a long moment as if he wasn't willing to offer up an actual response. Sure, he had been the one to throw it out casually in a show-offy and really sort of typically flashy Death Eater way, but he hadn't actually expected the words to spark more questions or a conversation on it. She was supposed to be impressed or frightened; she wasn't supposed to question it further. Didn't she understand how these things worked?

At least it was questions about one of the lesser Unforgivables. Were it to be questions on the Cruciatus Curse, there wasn't much of a doubt in his mind that he would simply get up and walk away from the conversation. He wouldn't care about leaving her hanging (and probably confirming suspicions) if it helped him to avoid feeling like shit.

"Yeah, maybe both." He replied vaguely, though the words had done a lot. The 'maybe' was superfluous and had definitely just been placed there unconsciously as if he knew that there was the chance of having to backpeddle and change his story if she turned out to be absolutely repulsed by the confirmation of her words. Yeah, maybe he knew that it caused headaches because maybe he had a lot of experience, which was really sort of sad, considering his young age.

"And it isn't so much as warping[ the brain as it is… Taking control of it, or seizing control, or however you want to describe it. It isn't making any changes; it's just borrowing it for a while, if that makes sense."

The conversation was an odd one, but it really was intriguing the young woman. After all, how many people could you ask about the Unforgivables and get non-textbook, probably truthful answers. This was a rare occurrence and she planned on taking full advantage of the information he was willing to give. Let's just hope he didn't plan on using any of them on her afterwards, eh?

"I think I get what you mean." The Latina said when he described it a little better. After, she rested her elbow on the table and rested her chin in the palm of her small hand. It sort of gave them impression that she was only listening while she stared dreamily at him, but that really was not the case. The touchy subject at hand really did interest her. Of course, all taboo or controversial subjects seemed to be Delilah's favourite conversation starters. Sex, drugs, religion, politics, whatever. Anything to ruffle a few feathers here and there.

"So, if you were to put me under right now." Delilah said, then gave a little shrug, "Hypothetically, of course. What would you have me do? I mean, you don't have to answer, I just thought it'd be a fun question. Or maybe not even me. Better yet, if you could put any body under, who would it be? And what would you make them do? Anybody in the whole world, no consequences."
