So many objects...Where am i?
Victoria stumbled nervously along, she shouldn't have come in here, her curiosity had overwhelmed her when she felt the small gap of two trees back at the edge of the Forest. She had walked through it, feeling how little space was around her, reaching out and occasionally touching bark. It was rough, and yet soft with moss at some parts, so much detail to take in. She continued to move along, enjoying the pleasure of being able to indulge in her senses so much. At first it was incredible , the smell of it, the intriguing sounds, the feel of it. But now, the space around her was getting smaller, and she didn't know how to escape it.
As panic rose within her, her breathing began to quicken, as she tried to remember how she got this far. A flash of her tour around the castle at the beginning of her first year, gave her an idea where she was. Was this the Forbidden forest she had been told about? She had no idea because she had never entered it before. When Victoria went outside she rarely went too far from the castle, for worry of getting lost.
But now she had ventured much to far, she was lost. A blind girl lost in a forest. Oh this was not good... She could see no shadows. No one was here, she was alone as usual. However this time, being alone was not as comforting as it was in the castle, the noises of the forests, the strange sounds of magical creatures, the snapping of branches around her. It was frightening the little Ravenclaw girl far to much. Her breathing became harder, her palms began to sweat, her heart began to pound in her ears. She felt a sharp painful tugging on her head, and reached up, she felt wood, a twig caught in her hair. She pulled at it quite roughly, two tugs, it ripped out, leaving strands of hair pulled out of it's once neat bun.
Victoria sped up, panic growing until it shone about her. She heard something rattle under her feet and shrieked. She broke into a run, eyes beginning to fill with tears as she sprinted with fear. There was nothing scarier then being blind and sov vulnerable. It was inevitable that, she stumbled and hit the ground roughly, her hand landed on something sharp, she yelped and pulled up Trying to stand straight, she stood there trembling, clutching her bleeding hand. Tear streaking own her face. She took a glanced around and there it was.
Then in the far distance, she saw a shadow, it was tiny, which meant it was far away, But she could see it. "Hello!" She yelled out, but she realized they wouldn't be able to hear her from this distance. She began to move in that direction, not really paying attention to the warnings the medallion around her throat were signaling to her, she just needed to get out of here. To get back to the open space, where she was safe. Her shoulder bashed hard into a tree, she gritted her teeth, eyes clenched tightly in reaction to the sudden pain , then slowly she moved past it. "Hello!" She yelled out as the shadow of a person got larger. Sometimes she was thankful she could see humans, even though they were just shadows in her eyes. She knew they were there, and that was a comfort.
She got close to the shadow, it was moving, but she didn't know whether it had it was looking at her, she could barely see the shape of shadows, the edges were so blurred into the whitearound them. She wiped the tears off her face with her uncut hand. "Hello, Please, I'm lost ,can you help me?" She asked, her voice shaking slightly. Was this right? What if this was someone she'd regret meeting? What would they do? God she hoped it was a teacher, or even that Malfoy boy, someone who knew she was blind. Someone who would be able to help her.
