Wondering around after curfew was something Delilah had done long before the school was taken over by Death Eaters. It started when she was in her fifth year, actually. There were a few reasons why. One was to sneak a cigarette away from the tattle-tell Slytherins. Another big one was to just clear her head before attempting to sleep. The last big one was to sneak away and scribble in her diary without somebody trying to peek over her shoulder to read. Tonight was a combination night. She planned on clearing her head, smoking and jotting a few things down in her leather bound diary. Why not hit them all if you get the chance, right?

Sneaking out was practically second nature to the female snake at this point. She had been doing it for so long, she really didn’t have to think about it. Of course, now, with the Death Eater run school, it made this process much more difficult. Before, the punishment was a slap on the hand and scoot back to your common room. Not these days. Since Dumbledore’s death, the punishments were much more severe. Sometimes even involving the use of Unforgivable Curses.

Needless to say, she was much more careful about it lately. While she’d usually just move out in whatever she was wearing previously, she would now change. Into all black attire to help keep cover if she needed it. She had a few occurrences where she had to actually run and hide during her late night strolls. Sometimes she sort of felt like a thief, running around in black and hiding from the people in charge, but it didn’t really bother her any. Probably because she liked to strut around in the tight black clothing. Most of her clothing was quite revealing, this wasn’t terribly different. While she had full pants and a long-sleeved shirt, they were both extremely tight and the shirt seemed a bit low-cut. She really didn’t own anything that covered anymore.

She moved through the halls silently, walking on her toes so the heels of her shoes didn’t make a sound. Who cares if it seems silly? Delilah Delgado will go great lengths to smoke a cigarette.

Wondering the corridors of Hogwarts past the set curfew wasn't typically the sort of thing that one would find the likes of Theodore Nott taking part in, however circumstances had changed and he had required an escape from the confines of the Slytherin Common Room. It wasn't as if he was about to get in much trouble if he was to be caught by a prefect. He could just use his newly acclaimed power as a member of the Inquisitional Squad and threaten to deduct points from their respective House because he simply had more power then them at the moment. His major concern was of course coming across a professor, but since most of the professor's were Death Eaters, there wasn't really much of a chance that he would get in any major trouble. His father being a faithful follower of He Who Must Not Be Named, and he himself being the perfect example of a pureblood. At least the way he considered things.

Making certain that every area of his cloak was crease free and dust free he carried on from the position that he had stopped in to inspect himself. It didn't mean that if one had less of a chance coming across anybody that it gave one the chance to let one self go. No, Theodore had been taught the proper way with regards to grooming, with regards to everything actually. And as things went, one always had to look ones best.

Even though the chance of getting into trouble was at a minimum, Theodore was still careful. Yes, he walked with his normal strut intact as he made his way along the corridors, he was just careful to keep the noise level to a minimum. One didn't exactly want the likes of McGonnagal catching you unaware; because you were making so much noise that you were unable to notice the sound of a woman's heels against floor. It was with this though in mind that Theodore came across the oddest display. He could see a figure making its way along the corridor on what looked like heels, which probably meant that it was a girl, however the figure was walking on tip toes. Theodore raised his eyebrow in utter bewilderment, but he wasn't going to allow this opportunity to pass. It was time he made use of the little power that had been given to him.

Theodore was careful to creep carefully up on the person, or girl, he had decided that it couldn't be a professor, because a, as a professor one wouldn't or shouldn't be sneaking about and b, he didn't really know any professor that was built that well. When he was about three feet away from the girl he made his presence known, clearing his throat in a very gentleman like manner and just as he did that he wished that he could have undone it. He was staring right into the beautiful, yet very deadly eyes of Delilah Delgado.

Walking on her toes was something she was quite used to. She had been dancing classical and Latin ballet for years, something she liked to keep secret. However, ballet didn’t really involve walking on the toes, more up and down work was involved. After a while, her toes felt as though they’d cramp from being in that position too long. However, she kept them up. One wrong move and it could be detention for her. A foot cramp was nothing compared to a crucio straight to the chest.

While she heard no noise from the young man before, his clearing of the throat was hard to miss. Fear shot through her stomach and she immediately winced her eyes shut. She had been caught. This was not a good sign. Not a good one at all. If she were lucky, if would be somebody who favoured Slytherins and would perhaps let her go with just a warning. Oh, how she prayed it was. Or some little Hufflepuff prefect that would just report her to McGonnagal rather than Snape. That would be nice too. That way she’d get a punishment like writing line or organizing something for her. No big deal. Okay, so don’t panic.

After a moment of worry, the Latina turned herself around. It was slow to be sure she held a cool and confident look. Even if she was about to get caught by one of the Carrows, she’d want to look as though this situation didn’t scare the daylights out of her. However, when she turned around she began to wonder if she’d prefer being eye-to-eye with a Carrow.

Crucio had to be better than this, right?

At the same time, she wasn’t too upset with seeing him. Her and Theodore’s relationship ended almost as soon as it had begun. He was one of the people who seemed to think he could change her ways. Of course, she thought maybe it would. She actually agreed to ‘date’ him and let him be her official boyfriend. She didn’t seem to have a problem, which sort of surprise her due to her commitment fears. However, as soon as sex was added into the equation, she ran. Just like she always did. It didn’t seem to matter. One night stands or actual relationship, she would run away. Seeing him just reminded her of that. It embarrassed her to the point where she didn’t really care for running into him. She also felt a little bad for him, after all, he really wasn’t half bad. It was that old saying, ‘it’s not you, it’s me’.

Despite how conflicted she went when she spotted him, she gave a confident and cool little smirk. At least she wouldn’t have to serve detention. As long as he wasn’t bitter over what had happened. Perhaps it was time to turn on the Delilah charm. Her dark eyelashes bat up and down once before glancing up at him in her usual sensual way. Instead of letting onto her previous nervousness, she decided to joke a little. “Merlin, Theodore. I know you missed me, but I didn’t think you’d sink to stalking me.”

This had not been the desired out come when he had decided to leave the Slytherin Common Room. In fact it was the exact opposite. He had been seeking a chance to go over in his mind why in fact Delilah Delgado and Draco Malfoy had been seen around each other so many times over the past few weeks, besides the fact that they were Slytherin, both in the same year and attended more or less the same classes. They had been seen out of that arena and it was in that that Theodore found a reason for the green eyed monster to once again make its appearance. This had always been the case when it came to Draco Malfoy, however well he hid it, it could not be hidden from himself. Theodore didn't require throngs of Slytherin children, who were considered beneath his superiority promising him everlasting adoration and allegiance, however he did want to be recognized as just as superior, pure-blood and even slightly more intelligent than Malfoy. So to have one of your ex-girlfriends, somebody who was known to have been the one to had dumped you, being seen around the Hogwarts Castle and outside its boundaries ca-noodling with your rival wasn't the best of things to have shoved in your face, by snickering third year Slytherin girls.

His face was blank as he stared into the golden-green coloured eyes that stared back at him, eye lashes batting as they usually did when she was planning on using her physical prowess to her advantage. Father had not taught him many things with regards to women, but he had taught him almost everything with regard to being able to defend yourself in battle and this was what Theodore knew was ahead of him. Merely tilting his head slightly to the left he allowed his eyes to linger up and down her body, quite aware that she was watching him. This was what she wanted and he was not a naive little boy that he would ignore the chance to take in the beauty of a master painting if someone placed it in front of him, and this was what he had always compared Delilah to. A perfect painting. when his eyes found their way back up to her mouth he couldn't help but allow a grin to form on his own. His blue eyes eventually met up with her eyes again as he listened to her speak.

To know that there was a possibility that Draco was enjoying moments with her, was like a curse to where he knew his heart should be. He had wondered briefly he had not somehow managed to cause Delilah to go after him, like Theodore was sure she was doing. however Theodore had come to the conclusion that Draco was just not that clever that he would be able to pull something like that off, no matter how smart he actually thought himself to be. Which meant that she was after him by her own devices and that was what he kept in mind as he responded to the joking tone she had taken with him.

"I have better things to do than waste my time on a lost cause. Besides Delilah that isn't the point at hand. The point at hand is why you are outside of the Slytherin Common Room outside of curfew."

It was true, Delilah and Draco were rather easy to spot near one another – if not together at Hogwarts or Hogsmeade. It was partially due to the fact that they were in the same house and same year. They seemed to sit near each other during classes and even in the Great Hall. However, that certainly wasn’t the only reason. They had been seen outside of just classrooms and the common room though. There were a few rumors about the two that Delilah heard. Most of them false, of course. A few, however, were not. Such as the two of them spending time alone in one of the towers. This is quite true. Another truthful one was that they had gone on a ‘date’. Technically, it was never officially titled as a date, but it was for the most part. They went to Hogsmeade and ended up flirting the whole time. Plus, rumor had it, Malfoy would be coming to her upcoming birthday party.

Being taught to ignore or at least withstand the powers of a beautiful woman was probably for the best for anybody who wished to come around Miss Delilah. She was more than just a pretty face, she was a horribly pretty face. There were plenty of pretty girls in Hogwarts, however Delilah used her looks in an advantage that not many did. For good reason too, it was unhealthy and quite wrong. The Slytherin girl didn’t care though. She was a devious and manipulative girl, that’s how she got into the house in the first place. While it worked on most, sometimes Slytherin males were used to it. Many Slytherins girls were manipulative in some way, usually things involving pure blood and money. Delilah never cared about those things, but this generally meant Slytherins were used to these sort of things.

Theodore was clearly of that sort. It was rather obvious when he didn’t give her the typical goo-goo eyes and stupid grin. He was used to her ways by now. However, his eyes did slip. They trailed up and down her frame before lifting right back up to her face. More specifically, her mouth. This caused a smirk to slip onto her full lips. Maybe there was a little hope for seduction. Finally, his eyes lifted right back to her eyes. A devious look glinted in the golden-green cat eyes.

Though the two had been frequently spotted together, any attempts to be with Malfoy were quickly swatted. While they seemed to spend a lot of together, they really weren’t that close. No, and any attempts to really flirt with him were usually lost on the stupid blond. Oh well, she wasn’t terribly heartbroken by it. Offended was a better word for it, really.

As he went on to speak in a nonchalant tone, she rose her eyebrows and kept the irritated look off her face. “I’m nothing more than a lost cause to you, darling?” She appeared calm, but her tone was not. It was sugary sweet, sarcastic and mocking. “You wouldn’t turn me in now, would you?”

It was just not something that he could understand. Why would Delilah Delgado go after someone as dimwitted and naive as Draco Malfoy? Theodore knew her so well, it wasn't as if he was unaware of what she did. In fact it was the exact opposite. He was quite aware. He knew full well that Delilah flirted and messed around with almost every being in the Hogwarts castle. The Slytherin even dared to flirt with Professors at times. It was what had attracted him to her, that and the fact that she was drop dead gorgeous, manipulative and intelligent. However were her pickings growing that short that she had to stoop so low? Had she gone through so many people of Hogwarts, that all that was left was Malfoy? Even then it couldn't be seen as an excuse. Theodore would have considered it better if she had gone through another round of the school instead of trying to sink her nails into Draco Malfoy.

This was just something that the blonde could use against him at a later stage. Shove in his face. Delight at the fact that, the girl that Theodore had once considered a girlfriend was now now spending so much time with him, and paying Theodore no mind at all. It would place, at least in Theodore's mind, Draco Malfoy ahead of him in some sort of race and that could not be afforded. Especially since Theodore had been ahead of him for years in things that he considered important. He could see the smirk on the pale nitwit's face now, as passed him in the Slytherin common room or in the corridors. That smirk that meant I have something that you don't, but you want to have.

A strange reality though, if Theodore had to think about it in a critical manner. He hadn't paid Delilah much attention until he had heard the rumors. Those sickening, unbelievable rumors. Damn, the boredom and nosiness of the Slytherin girl. He hadn't been affected by whatever or whoever Delilah did until her attention had turned to that of Draco Malfoy. Theodore knew with out any doubt that he was better than any of the guys (or girls) that Delilah was attracted to or found herself drawn to simply because he is from the pureblood heritage of the Nott bloodline and he just oozes perfection. Draco Malfoy is a different story because he happens to be so similar to him, however annoying that might be and yet so drastically different. Any problem between them has always stemmed from that and Delilah was well aware of that fact. Theodore eyed the property before him. This one that had always been so difficult to control.

Nothing went unnoticed as she spoke. He was well aware that the Latino blood before him was trying to get her way out of trouble, and way that she could. Strange that even with that knowledge his blood still boiled with the prior knowledge of her betrayal. Yet they were similar. he kept up his facade as well as she did, letting nothing slip. If you were Slytherin you were trained from year one to be able to hide deceit and if you were the son of a Death Eater you were trained from before you could walk.

"Delilah you're barking up the wrong tree, or should I say wrong pureblood, Slytherin? I'd hand you in directly to one of the Carrows, honey."

The last word he spoke held mock in it as he said it in the very same manner in which she had cooed her reply.

Delilah's rather sudden attraction to Draco Malfoy was a little on the unusual side. That is, if you didn't truly know the both of them. Draco Malfoy was often thought of as a boy who went through girls as quickly as he went through underwear, but that really wasn't the case. Malfoy had an extremely high set of standards, even beyond the 'pureblood' rule. Not just any pureblooded girl could bed him. Oh no, nobody was good enough for him. He was a little more fickle about it in his younger years, but it seems like no female was allowed around him now. He was essentially, just as unattainable as she was. He was a challenge, just like her. A challenge that strangely called to her. After all, he was about the only boy in Hogwarts she had yet to already have and he was proving to be quite difficult to even get it in the future. He was quite a handfull.

While the Latina was aware of the slight competition between the two Slytherin boys, that wasn't the reason behind her selection. She knew that they were both only rich, pure-blooded Slytherin males with any brains. However, the other aspects of their personalities clashed too. Mainly, they both wanted power and to be in charge of themselves and everyone else. Obviously, this meant that they just did not mesh well together. While they never seemed to be especially loud about their 'competition', it was still quite well known.

Her ignoring Theodore also wasn't part of some big plan. In fact, she rather liked Nott. He was decently intelligent, handsome and rather mysterious. However, one thing seperated him from Malfoy. Theodore was no chase. He came to her willingly, his arms and heart wide open. This would seem like a good thing, of course, since males seem to be the less romantic in heterosexual relationships. However, not to the antsy Delilah Delgado. Nothing that she can have is wanted by her, making her quest for 'love' neverending. For example, if she actually did manage to keep Draco Malfoy in her grasp, she'd probably end up throwing him away too.

Part of the reason that she didn't even know that the whole Malfoy thing was upsetting him was because he never said anything about it. Of course, this was probably for the best. If she knew that seeing her with Malfoy would anger him, she would. Nothing is more flattering and sexy than a jealous man in her eyes. Nothing.

He wasn't falling into the trap of letting her go scott free. She really should have assumed it wouldn't work, he knew her too well by now and he wasn't stupid. He had gone to school with her for years now and was probably well aware of how she worked. In fact, as he seemed to let her words sink in, he didn't even react. In fact, he just stared down at her. For some reason, him not falling for her trap excited her. It was similar to how Malfoy now behaved, as if they were too good for her mischevious and flirtatious tricks. Like she'd have to step up her game. Like this was a challenge. Was Theodore now a challenge too?

Even if he was, he couldn't be taken back. After all, it was her rule... Right?

As he spoke, her golden eyes stared right back at him. She didn't bother with the flirtatious glances anymore. If they weren't working, she wasn't about to waste her energy trying. Instead, she appeared strangely relaxed as if his words didn't sink in at all.

"C'mon, Theo." She finally replied, the devious tone dropping as well. Instead, she sounded a little tired and quite calm. She still looked rather sensual, but that was really just her nature by now. "I just needed some fresh air. I know you're angry with me and all, but can't you cut me some slack?" After a moment, she paused. It was almost was if she realize how plain and everyday she sounded. Something that she definitely wasn't comfortable with.

"Please? I'll owe you?" She suggested lightly, leaving out any details. Her dark eyebrows rose in a slightly hopeful expression on her pretty features.

More logical thought passed through his mind as he watched the reaction of Delilah before him. The reality was that if Theodore really knew Delilah as well as he claimed to, then he wouldn't be so confused about her feelings. Wondering whether they may be real or just that flickering candle in the night. This was the most annoying factor in any event. If she could find herself able to give herself fully to Draco Malfoy, where she hadn't been able to do so with him. Could he truly consider himself the perfect pureblood he believed himself to be? It was a well known fact that when one went into a relationship with any Slytherin, or a child of a death eater, one wasn't about to get a lovable companion. Marriages had happened through out the ages, pureblood to pureblood, where no love had first existed...if at all. He was certain that one wouldn't get some sort of true feeling from Draco unless it was of disgust or annoyance. However he was different, or at least he believed himself to be. When he was in a relationship there was a reason he was in it.

The fact that the walking dead could possibly cause Delilah to come out of that shell that Theodore knew her to be in, even though her every action and reaction spoke differently, was the worst of it all. That Draco Malfoy could give someone something that he couldn't, when he was certain that he should be able to. He never lied when he was in a relationship. Things were simple for him. If he claimed to be in a relationship with a girl it was so. He didn't go about cheating on the girl with every other suitable girl that popped her head threw the door. Theodore also never promised a girl anything that he wasn't able to give. If he knew that he was incapable of being in a relationship with that particular girl he would call it what it was. A very entertaining arrangement. His little stint with Delilah had been a relationship, and perhaps that was were the problem arose.

Of course people believed differently of him. As quiet as he was, it seemed he had a reputation for having a slew of girls looking at his every move. This wasn't the case, but a reputation like that, especially when you are a young man, isn't something that one gives up on so easily. So keeping quiet allowed people to believe things that weren't true. Perhaps he hadn't allowed Delilah to see him as he was, or perhaps he wasn't as attentive as he could have been, but there needed to be some distance between them. Theodore knew that Delilah wouldn't have been the girl that he took to the alter, so she only required as much as he thought the relationship worth. Considering everything on his side, he was certain that he considered it at least worth a few months. Yet even this thinking didn't help. It left Theodore with contradicting thoughts, not to mention it was starting to cause a nagging pain in his right temple. Was the fault his or was Draco just able to give her something that he could not?

Placing his forefingers upon the side of his forehead, touching the exact position on his temple that the pain seemed to be originating from, Theodore started moving them in a slow clockwise motion. Upon realization of what seemed to have absentmindedly occurred, Theodore brought his hand back down and placed both of his arms at his side. His eyes fell upon hers again and he realized it had been awhile since he had responded to her. Quickly he placed everything in order in his mind and searched for her last words, so that his response wouldn't leave him looking like a twit.

"I wonder if an excuse like that will work with the Carrows. I highly doubt it, but perhaps if you changed your tone and coated it with that fake sugary tone of yours, then the might fall for it. That is of course if Alecto Carrow leans that way."

He smirked at his response. If she wanted to do what she was doing than she deserved the worst from him and he was only beginning. Yet he couldn't deny that he just wanted to grab the Latino before him and press his lips against hers, and ask her if Draco could give her that. Taking a silent breadth, he stepped forward and then started walking around her.

"Am I to believe that you are suggesting something of a crude manner? I find it difficult to believe that you might see that suggestion through. Since you haven't so much as looked my way, since well, since you decided it would be better if we were separated." Theodore stopped walking when he reached her left hand side and leaned in to whisper in her ear.
"I don't make mistakes twice."
It was a bluff, but a bluff he pulled of well and one she would find difficult to call him on.

Marriage had never even been thought of as a possibility to Delilah Delgado. The union of man and wife. The legal coming together of two people. Whether it be the ultimate act of love or the sharing of the families' wealth, she really never saw it happening. Many Slytherins were merely wed for the simple fact of money or blood. Young pureblooded girls are taught from an early age to flirt and stick around boys with money or pureblood. In fact, a lot of them were set up in an arranged marriage before even entering Hogwarts. This was something Delilah never pictured. Not only would be never marry a man for these reasons, but it didn't make sense for her. She was of an average, middle class family and rather secretly, her blood was only half pure. So, her family never planned such a thing and would much rather the girl chose to marry the man she loved.

Love. Another thing she never saw happening. It wasn't that she was incapable of love. In fact, Delilah was quite a loving person. She would give up anything and everything to protect her family. They meant more than anything else to her. While she would never think of doing such a thing otherwise, she would kill for her family. Even if it meant being sent to Azkaban, she'd do it without a second thought. However, romantic love seemed completely out of the question. It wasn't that it was impossible, it was just that she had such a difficult time settling to even date one man that loving one seemed like a deadly task. As if it was so unlikely to happen that it was impossible. The idea of a man actually caring about her enough to love her seemed unlikely to her as well. All the other men in her life had taken off without a care, so she didn't see it possible for future boys to stay. Perhaps this is why she got rid of them so quickly. Ditch them before they ditch her.

Despite marriage seeming so unlikely, there were few things Delilah wanted more in the future than to have children. Ever since the birth of her younger brother, she was always a 'mini-mum' with her siblings. She would help her mother with taking care of her siblings. She would ever sometimes tell her mum to just 'go away' because these were her kids. Her baby sister was the same way, except her sister also treated her as though she were her mother. Even now, they were best friends, even with Maria only seven years old. Because of this extremely close relationship with children, Delilah does hope to have children. Whether she has a father for them or not, it's completely irrelevant in her mind. Yes, she'd prefer they have a father they knew and who loved them, but she didn't have to care about him. After all, Delilah grew up with a father and she believed she turned out just fine.

Theodore Nott did have a certain reputation with Slytherin girls. Of course, Delilah too had quite the reputation among their whispering lips. Her reputation was partially based on truth, of course. That she was a reckless whore who slept around with just about anybody and left them come morning. There was no doubt that Delilah was quite the flirt who had had her fair share of boys and sex. And it was quite true that she never slept with the same person more than once. Another truthful rumor was the fact that she didn't care if a person was male or female. However, there were quite a few false ones. Several males seemed to think of it as some sort of girl, claiming to have slept with the young Latina. Saying she did wild, crazy and sometimes disgusting things during their love making. The rumors didn't bother her though, it was all just from stupid and bored students with nothing better to do with their time.

The awkward silence between the exes was growing past awkward and into extremely uncomfortable. As he stared off, she began to wonder if she could just slip away and she would go completely unnoticed and he would think all of this was made up in his head. As if she was just a figment of his imagination. As if he was just dreaming about her. For a moment she began to wonder if he did dream about her. If he missed her and if he wanted her back. However, she didn't voice these thoughts. Instead, she thought about an escape plan and how just walk away while he was in thought may work.

However, as soon as she shifted to make a move, he spoke. Obviously, he did not forget about the subject at hand. He commented on how she could try to suck up to the Carrows and perhaps Alecto swung that way. The idea made Delilah instantly feel ill. Yes, she was fond of women also, but she definitely did have some taste. Alecto Carrow's looks alone made her shudder. He was being cruel. Crueler than usual and she couldn't help but wonder why. When with her, he wasn't particularly sweet, but he did have a gentleness to him. All of that past gentle and carefulness seemed pushed out the window at the moment. He wasn't Theodore Nott right now. He was a Slytherin. Just like any other Slytherin male. The thought also made her a bit sick.

"I'm sure anybody would lean my way if I wanted them too." She responded, her voice as low and sensual as ever. Not that she'd ever be interested in either of the Carrows, of course. However, if he was going to act like a typical Slytherin, so was she. Crude, sarcastic and cocky. Two could certainly play this game. Especially when the two in question with Slytherins through and through.

When he turned her last comment into a much more sexual innuendo, her dark eyebrows rose curiously. She really didn't expect him to catch onto the possibly sexual hint. Perhaps he had picked up too much from her. After all, everything was sexual with Miss Delgado. Her eyelashes lowered for a moment to let her drag her eyes upward, taking every expression on his face in. It had been a while since she had seen him this close. Close enough to take in every feature on his face. The smirk on his once kissable lips and the malicious glint in his eye. While most would find it a tad frightening, Delilah had to shift because the evil look excited her slightly. Ex or not, he did have a way with her.

He leaned his smirk down to her level and whispered into her ear. Her head tilted slightly to the right, bringing her ear closer to those lips. A few strands of her dark hair fell onto his cheek as he spoke his mean words. His words stung a little, yet at the same time his quiet voice caused goosebumps to erect up her arms as if there was a sudden cold chill down the hall. The words were mean and they were just that. He said it convincingly, but she knew better. He was saying them to hurt her like she hurt him, there was not an ounce of truth behind them. There couldn't be, she could tell by the previous glint in his eyes. She turned her head, so her face was touching his. She tilted her chin upwards so her nose was to his. The distance made her breath easy to feel. Her full lips just barely brushed against his. It wasn't quite a kiss, but a familiar feeling of being lip to lip. Her eyelashes nearly touched her eyebrows at how far she had to look up because of the height difference. Her golden green eyes locked onto his as she stared for a moment before speaking. Her seductive voice lowered a little more than usual and came out as a whisper. "Is that so? Would you like to test that?"

"Interesting concept, and one that you will get the chance to put to the test," he replied. His tone heartless and uncaring. It was as if for the moment one could look at him and they would see his father staring back. However the moment was to brief for him to enjoy.

Theodore stood helplessly as Delilah did what she did so well in response to his last comment. He could feel her move closer so that his lips were closer to her cheeks than he had previously intended. The feel of a few loose strands of her soft dark hair. Hair that he had once been allowed to run his hands through falling on his on cheek hardly went unnoticed and as she turned he could almost see the fall of his king to her queen as he felt her warm breadth upon his lips, as they seemed to barely touch her own. Gazing down into into the pits of her golden-green eyes, beautifully adorned by long black lashes almost touching her eyebrows in an effort to gaze into his own green ones he knew he was at a loss.

An underestimation of one's enemy was the worst sort of mistake. Not only that, but it was a rookie mistake. He had played an almost perfect game, but his mistake had come when he had dared the Latino. Of course the words had not actually been uttered from his mouth, but the meaning was there and she had caught on to it, as much as he had caught on to her sexual innuendo. This leading to another problem. The fact that what he had said had been far from the truth, part of the reason he was in Slytherin of course, and her close proximity to him was causing the temperature to rise. Whether it was his own or just the air around him he was unsure of now, and all of this simply because he had underestimated his opponent. He needed to regain control soon or the game would be lost and she would be in control. A control that was not to be so easily given by a Nott. He was thankful that his father wasn't able to witness any of this.

His mind worked fast in an effort to calculate every movement she had made and the effects and consequences of any move that he had to make now would cause, but it was all estimation. Theodore could not predict her reaction. This very predicament was proof of that. However he was unwilling to allow Delilah to win the battle. Though he had to admit that she was playing a rather good game. He should not have expected less from her, but he had and now it would possibly lead to his downfall if he did not respond as quickly as she had.

Holding as fast as he could he stepped forward, grabbing the back of the Delilah's hair and pulling it backward in an almost barbaric manner, yet there was sexuality behind it. Especially when he leaned in to claim what he so desired. He was about to do so when he merely brushed her lips and then her cheek and stopped once again at her ear.

"Is this the kind of silly games you play will Malfoy, because I must admit I grow tired of your games."

As he pulled back an almost sadistic smirk claimed his mouth, as he stood over her in the position of power. Keeping up a front that seemed to take so much out of him and he hoped the Latino would not be able to notice as he allowed her to gain her ground once more, only letting go of her hair when he was sure that she would not fall. For as much as he despised her at the moment, he would not allow to fall to the floor. At least not yet.

Seduction probably was one of the oldest games to be heard of, in which the woman almost always wins. Many heard of stories involving beautiful women, seducing men into their fate. One of the most famous was the very woman Delilah was named after. While the naming was ironic before, it seemed like no mistake now. The seductress' name was none other than 'Delilah'. Her story heard by quite a number muggles, especially those involved in studying religions. The story of the beautiful woman seducing the man who loved her into telling her the secret of his strength. While she rolled in the riches of her success without a care in the world, he was tortured and eventually died due to her treachery.

While Delilah's mother never thought her daughter would even think to do such a thing, she just may have set up the second coming of the devious temptress.

There was no doubt in the petite Latina's mind that she had the upper hand. While she moved to come closer, she could sense him tense up. It wasn't an awkward, wanting to pull away tense. It was the sort of tense that practically fessed up to wanting to put his hands on her. As if he was using almost everything in his power to keep his hands off the tanned girl. In other words, she seemed to have him right where she wanted him.

However, once his hand snaked up her back, she realized that she couldn't have been more wrong. At first, when she felt his fingers on the back of her head, it felt nice. She felt sort of like a kitten being pet. Her eyelashes almost fluttered from the pleasing feeling, but before they got the chance, her thick hair was yanked back roughly to reveal her bare neck. Her eyes went wide for a moment and her lips separated to let out a quick gasp. It was followed by a lower moan and her dark eyelashes finally fluttering before shutting. While the shock of it was rather painful, the aggressiveness was what caused the rather sensual moan to escape. Anybody who couldn't see them would probably assume something more sexual was going on.

She could hardly feel his lips brush against her because of the sudden throbbing in the back of her head. Her thoughts raced quickly to try and regain herself. This was definitely the submissive position of the two and Delilah did not like being on bottom. Though for a shallow moment, she prayed he didn't pull out any hair. It wasn't until she felt his breath on her ear that she even remembered to breathe again and snapped back into reality.

"Mmm, the games I play with Draco?" She asked, her voice breathy and highly sexual. Despite the sensual voice, it could have been an innocent question. To somebody that wasn't a Slytherin, that is. Draco Malfoy, when addressed by others around their age, was almost always 'Malfoy'. It was a sense that they held him higher in pride, they feared him, they disliked him or wanted to keep his name impersonal. Either way, he was 'Malfoy' to damn near the whole school. Delilah was never one for calling people by their last names, but even she generally stuck with his surname. However, for whatever reason, Draco came out instead. His first name seeming so personal and like she was closer to him than most. Something that didn't help her 'innocent' case.

When he let go of her dark tresses, she reached up to rub her poor scalp. It ached and immediately sent a headache shooting through her skull. After a moment, she looked up with a glare in her golden green eyes. The dark-lashed eyes glinted deviously and her voice remained sexually hinting."This isn't anything like the sort of games I'd play with that boy."

While the sexual thought of Draco Malfoy had passed through her mind, it wasn't any more than most others in the school. A simple thought that was gone before she could really think about it. The only thing that really attracted her to the blond thus far was the chase he made. However, the hints of jealousy were so obvious in the other Slytherin male's voice and eyes that she decided to say it anyway. After all, there were few things funner than a jealous rage. "Though, you've already had a sample of those games, haven't you?"

The movement had proved to be as unexpected for her as her previous movements had been for him, and for the moment his King remained safe. It pleased him that he had momentarily fooled the Latino. In her haste it seemed that she too had forgotten the strength of her opponent, which now gave him the upper-hand, and it was in that that he took satisfaction. Having the upper-hand was something that he should have had through out the course of interaction with her, but he had misjudged things and lost it to her. Theodore had thought it might have been impossible to get back, but his mind proved once again that it was the better between the two and he had won it back. He savored the moment. He even savored the brief gasp that escaped her lips, because it all screamed superiority, and that is what he was here to prove in the end. To prove his superiority to Delilah through whatever means necessary, since she had cast that mortal wound in his back. A wound she kept open and rubbed salt in, it seemed, with every chance that she got.

Just as he started to ease in the hope that perhaps things would simmer now, because he had proved there was nothing that she could do that he could not deny or better, the words escaped her mouth. His eyes darkened at the sensuality behind every breadth she took to say it and he felt if only for a moment as if to grab her by the throat and squeeze until she could utter nothing of the sort anymore. He had never felt like this toward anyone except the famously annoying trio and the very person of which she spoke. The fact that she could only with her words evoke suck a feeling in him annoyed him. It annoyed him because he seemed to loose all sense of time and thought. It annoyed him because he seemed to loose himself. Though the main reason behind the annoyance was because of the utterance of one word, once name through the magnificent specimen that was her mouth, seemed to answer for him all the questions that had seemed to be haunting him. She was involved with Draco.

He stepped back, without caring that she could use this to her advantage. As the sentence played over and over in his mind and the last word rang the loudest in the same tone Delilah had used. It was savage. It was unbearable. It was incomprehensible, and yet she had claimed it as the truth with the very use of his name. Then he heard something else though the repetitiveness of that single sentence and it was her voice again. She was still playing the game with him. So he decided that perhaps it was time he played a little harder. His mind sieved through the many girls he was was known to be with, but so often his mind would for no reason jump back to Draco, and then it clicked. He remained in the position that he was. He would allow her the victory. It was a well won battle, but the war was far from over.

"I think I've more than sampled it," he replied his voice harsh and annoyed.

Then Theodore studied her for a moment. Like a buyer would study something he was about to make an investment in and then his eyes lightened again and his breathing took on its normal rhythm. He didn't smirk when he spoke again and he spoke like he would to anyone with whom he had had along acquaintanceship with.

"Pansy would make for a good courtship don't you think?"

His smile was enigmatic, but again it was just that. There was no smirk, and it seemed as if he was waiting for a response from Delilah. As if her very thought on the matter would either push him to court Pansy or otherwise, and he didn't seem in the slight bit phased that he had so completely and utterly changed the subject of their conversation. In fact his very attitude seemed to resonate that this was what they had been talking about the entire time and nothing else.

She knew her word would sting. She knew they'd ring in his eyes. She knew the statement would repeat over and over in his poor mind for quite some time. She knew the words would haunt him and prevent him from a good nights' sleep. And that's exactly why she said it. She liked to be top banana in the shock department and leave people pondering over her words weeks after they had even been said. Why? Well, she liked to be thought about. In fact, she loved it. The fact that she knew Theodore not only thought, but still wasn't completely over her pleasured her so much that it was almost sick and twisted. However, he wasn't the only victim to this little mind game that she played. He just happened to be the one around longest to figure it out.

This was her final year at Hogwarts, she wanted to go out with a bang. That when fellow classmates saw her strolling along Diagon Alley in the future, they'd avoid her completely, yet at the same time think about her. If she was still the way she is now and if not, who was she? She wanted to leave quite the impression and she planned on doing such in these last few months.

When he stepped back to take in her words, she grew immensely excited. She had won. She shocked him. She hurt him. It was beautiful. While Delilah was one of the rare Slytherins that wasn't on the side of the Dark Lord, it didn't make her any nicer. The young woman still had quite malicious intentions for those around her. The sight of him swallowing the words that she hissed so coyly was beyond pleasurable. In fact, it was nearly arousing. She wanted to lash out and just thrust him at the wall behind her and ravish the boy. However, it wasn't to 'kiss away his pain' or anything. No. No, it was so much better than that. It was to let it sink even further, let him think that this was the treatment Draco Malfoy got everyday. When truth is, her lips had never touched a single inch of th boy. Of course, it was fun to make him believe that her and Malfoy went at it all day, every day like a couple of animals in heat. It seemed to hurt so much more that way, which just amounted to turning him on even more.

Unfortunately, the arousal didn't last long. Not after he mentioned a certain other name that caused her to tense up and frown. Pansy Parkinson. Delilah and Pansy were rather well-known for not getting along. They were what most liked to call 'fake friends' or 'frenemies'. To each others face, they'd force a smile and lace their friendly conversation with catty remarks. As soon as the other turned her back, the daggers went flying. The catty put downs could be as simple and stupid at 'her hair cut is stupid', 'she's a whore' or 'looks like a dog', yet they continued on with it. Never had it escalated into anything serious like a full out fight, but it was just bubbling to happen and to be honest, Delilah couldn't wait. Being born into a large family and spending most of her childhood outdoors, she was fairly confident she would be a better fighter than the little pureblooded debutante who would probably cry if dirt touched her porcelain coloured skin.

The name caused her own small nose to wrinkle up for a moment in order to resemble the raven haired girl she spoke of. "Oh, sure. You two would make a lovely couple." She said at first, then poked her squished up nose. "But I had no idea you were into pug dogs."

Delilah lowered her tanned hand and gave a smirk up at the boy. Yes, the idea of those two together made her want to vomit, but she couldn't let him know that was a potential weakness. She knew how this game was played and showing any form of weakness would immediately be used against her, so she just kept up she sensual little smirk. "Then again, you were rather rough with me," She began again, her voice lowering sexually because everything turned into sex around Delilah Delgado. "Perhaps you just like it like the animals."

Every Slytherin who had a brain, well at least some resemblance of a brain knew that Delilah and Pansy didn't get along well. It wasn't as if they had ever has a cat fight with each other, but their was just something about their attitudes. The fake smiles and the sweet remarks. However if you happened to be lucky enough to hear either one have a conversation with the next person or one of their friends after they had just conversed with each other, well things became very clear. They always seemed to talk about how the other's outfit didn't seem right or how one was just a bit to free with everyone she knew. It was rather entertaining to watch. Though the reason Theodore had used Pansy's name, instead of all the other girl's he knew Delilah didn't get along with, was because there was something similar about their dislike of the other. Something that reminded him of himself and Draco.

He took careful not of her reaction, because he didn't want to miss out on anything that might be used as a weapon against the Latino. Theodore had awarded her the previous battle, but he wasn't about to loose this one. His eyes caught the wrinkling of her nose. It was such an interesting reaction. that she would resort to something that the mentioned party was widely known to do. One could look at it in many ways, but he just looked at is as a reaction that meant she cared. That resonated again in the words that departed from her mouth. Though her body said nothing and she made it seem as if she held no feeling toward it. To retaliate like that with those words, that demeaned the pure girl so. It just screamed jealousy. Of course were the jealousy was directed toward was the problem. Was she jealous that Theodore was looking at another girl, like Pansy or was just merely jealous of Pansy? For the moment he let that question simmer in his mind. It didn't matter. Her response was exactly what he had been wishing for.

"I'm glad you approve," he kept his eyes locked on hers. His voice as calm as it had been when he had first mentioned Pansy name and his eyes clear of any telling information. "An interesting analogy Delilah,." Then his eyes betrayed him, even though his voice did not. A small glint in the corner of his right eye, "I suspect though that we both share this fascination or interest of animals, since the person you're linked to has an uncommon resemblance to a ferret."

Theodore found himself in no mood to say Malfoy's name or his surname. It seemed almost that the very thought of him at the moment brought to his mind unwanted mental pictures of him and Delilah together. This wasn't reflected in his state or movement or voice at the moment, but his mind was a mess, and it was all because of that well timed stink bomb that Delilah had hurled in his direction.
